Thursday 15 Assignments (Mauricio Nunez)

Today we were assigned to look for numbers throughout Boston and to answer a compare/contrast paragraph about MIT and Harvard. This is what I got:

Question:
Both Harvard and MIT are super selective universities. Compare and contrast them. If you were somehow accepted to both of them, which would you attend and why? Is there any chance that you would refuse both and attend a third college?

Answer:
In my personal opinion, Harvard and MIT universities have a lot in common; actually, I think they share some of the same type of architecture in some of the buildings contained on the campuses are really alike.

The thing starts changing when we see the most recent buildings of both of the campuses because differently from Harvard University, MIT has changed its style in recently created buildings and is more modern, and the Harvard University keeps the old fashioned building style because that is part of the theme of the university. Another thing that changes is the type of education they teach in both schools.

In MIT they teach all of the careers related with engineering careers and harvard is more open and shares many kinds of different careers. MIT is also more open to The opinions of students because it even lets them to make pranks with certain rules in the campus like one time when they put a car on top of the front dome of the main building. Harvard is also open to students but has even more discipline, but is also really cool.

If I was accepted to both colleges I wouldn't know what to do because I really like both schools and I would definitely love to study in both of them because they really alike in the way of studying and the way of thinking in both colleges. If I was also accepted to another college also with the opportunity of also studying in Harvard or in MIT I would definitely prefer to study in either harvard or in MIT and not in the other college.
